Making rewards scarce increases their perceived value. Scarcity triggers urgency and desire — "I might miss out if I don't act now."
Types: Time-limited offers, limited quantities, exclusive access, and seasonal availability.
Scarcity principle: People want more of what they can have less of. But overuse or fake scarcity destroys trust. Use sparingly and honestly.
