Event-driven Process Chain Model (EPC)

Conceptual Design

The Event-driven Process Chain (EPC) model maps business processes by showing events (states), functions (activities), and logical connectors.

Unlike simple flowcharts, EPC models explicitly show what triggers each step (events) and how steps relate through AND/OR/XOR logic.

For UX: EPC models help understand complex business processes before designing interfaces for them, especially in enterprise or workflow applications.
